The customer builder
This is the part your customers touch, so it is the part we polish hardest. Here is what happens between "upload" and "add to cart".
Upload and arrange
Customers drop in PNG files (types and max size are your settings), then drag, resize, rotate and duplicate each design on a canvas that matches the real sheet width. The sheet grows lengthwise as they add art; the price updates with every change.
Auto-nest
One click packs every design to minimize sheet length, rotating pieces where it saves material and honoring the medium's margins and spacing. The customer can always hand-adjust afterward — auto-nest is a starting point, not a cage.
Quality gates
Before checkout, every design is checked at its printed size:
- Below your DPI floor → hard block with a plain-English message.
- In the warning band → an "I understand it may print soft" acknowledgment, stored with the order.
- Wrong type / too large → rejected at upload, with the limits stated.
Phones
The builder is touch-first: pinch to zoom, drag to place, and auto-nest doing the fiddly work — because most of your customers are ordering from the press room floor, not a desktop.
Common questions
Can customers save a sheet and come back?
Yes — sheets persist in the cart/session, and logged-in customers can reorder a past sheet from their order history.
Can I turn off customer rotation or set a max designs per sheet?
Both are per-product settings, along with disabling auto-nest if you want arrangement fully manual.
